Who we are

Allone Mumyuka Foundation (AMCF) has been operating in Uganda since 2013 and was registered as a Community Based Organisation on 28th March 2019 (Reg. No. NMC/851/19). Founded by Asiimwe David, a psychologist and farmer, and his mother Namugenyi Florence, a tailor and farmer. Their own experience of extreme poverty and homelessness inspired them to create a home for orphaned and vulnerable children.

AMCF is located at Ochienge Zone, Yesu Amala, Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District, Uganda. We work to improve the lives of OVCs through holistic support: shelter, education, nutrition, medical care, clothing, and spiritual nurturing.

Today, 34 children live full‑time at our center (18 girls, 16 boys). They receive three meals a day, attend school, get medical checkups, and grow in a loving Christian environment. Additionally, we support 24 children in the community – bringing our total to 58 children under direct care.

Success Story: Shakira’s Journey

Shakira arrived at AMF in 2014 after losing both parents and her grandmother. She was malnourished and had never been to school. Today, Shakira is in Primary 7, loves reading, and dreams of becoming a lawyer. “AMF gave me a second chance,” she says. “I want to help other children like me.”
